Dr. Fox is the newest member of CTCRS, joining in January 2013. She is originally from Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University, graduating with honors in 2001. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio for medical school, earning her MD in 2005. Dr. Fox completed her Residency in General Surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2010. She then completed her fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at THR Presbyterian Hospital/University of Texas Southwestern in 2012. In addition, she has served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas prior to moving to Austin. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, colonoscopy, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, benign anorectal disorders and pelvic floor dysfunction. When not practicing medicine, Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
