Kimberly S. Furlong MSN, APRN, AHCNS-BC, CWON
Kim earned her nursing degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006 and subsequently completed her Masters in Nursing in 2008. Kim was also awarded Board Certification as an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist in 2008. In January of 2009, Kim attended the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Program (WOCN) at MD Anderson in Houston and completed her certification later that year. Her experience expands from working as a WOCN in hospitals to Advanced Practice Nurse Practioner/Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse guiding wound treatments in rehabilitation and long-term care facilities.
When Kim is not supporting her Ostomy clients or supporting the CTCRS surgeons, she likes to spend time with her family and going to the beach in Port Aransas.
